Samaritan House food has a food pantry that anyone who needs food can come anytime. We try to have a balanced diet of all nutrients and products including beans, beef, flour, rice, fruits and all the other necessary products.
Most of our products are canned so that it can last for longer durations. Moreover, we encourage that people take what is needed for their daily intake reasonably. Canned Soups are also provided with other supplemental canned food as well.
In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
Despite our resources, we depend a lot on the generosities of the restaurants in Las Vegas. Samaritan House would like to have a more sustainable and concrete program for our food pantry in order to serve the community better. Form of donation does not have to money, but it can be also a warm plate of food for homeless or cooking untensils or cupboards that will improve the quality of our food pantry.
