Fundraiser
This fundraiser is a project by students of UWC-USA who volunteer three days a week at the shelter.
Please take a moment to learn about the important work going on at the shelter and the needs that they are addressing in the community which relies so heavily upon its services.
We would like to encourage you all to donate to the fundraiser currently taking place for the purchase and installation of a commercial kitchen sink, which would bring the shelter one step closer to having a full functioning commercial kitchen. A commercial kitchen will provide a space for community members to cook healthy, nutritious meals for the guests of the shelter. We also hope to raise enough for the purchase of a security camera system (for everyone’s safety).
In addition, we urge you to share this video on your social media platforms in hopes of reaching out to a much wider audience.
